IL PIACERE RISTRANTE Is one of our favorites, a small quaint place with very friendly waiters and servers. The food is excellent, and the portions are generous. Must try the veal and fish entrees which are excellent. Dress is casual, and the atmosphere is cozy.  We go early; but if you're a late diner, you'd better call for reservations on the weekends.

FILIPPO'S  250 Midland Avenue, Garfield NJ 201-478-1700 is another favorite. It must be since we had our wedding reception there. The food is very good, and Rose, our favorite waitress, is so friendly she just might join you for dinner. Try the artichoke; it's out of this world. Dress is casual, and the atmosphere is quaint featuring a roll away fireplace in the middle of the room. Again we go early; so if you're a late diner, you'd better call for reservations.

ELIANO TRATTORIA 2 Mercer Street, Lodi NJ 973-779-0744 makes you feel like you're dining in Italy. The one room is large with pictures of Italian settings. It's a bring your own; so stock up with your favorite wine and feast. The food is excellent, and the portions are large. Dress is casual, and the atmosphere is quaint. Go for it.

NINO'S Ristorante  527 River Drive Elmwood Park NJ 201-796-1089 nice cozy place and a perfect selection say for a Sunday Lunch. Try the Veal Piccata, and the soups.

Pazza Luna is a cossy little place on chestnut steet in Garfied, NJ. Your love the Pizza, not thin and not thick, just right. Their hot dishes, like Ziti, Ravioli and Lasagna are all home made and fresh and out of this world. Go try it your keep going back. They serve beer and wine.

26-26 Maple Avenue, Fair Lawn, NJ is another fine small bring your own Italian Cuisine.  The food is excellent, the atmosphere is quaint. Its small so go early, and be prepared to dined with mostly regulars. Try the shrimp parmesian.

Giovanni's

Market Place Mall, 430 Market Street, Elmwood Park, NJ is yet another fine small bring your own Italian Cuisine. The food is excellent, and the service is super. The early bird is very reasonable, but you need to get there by 5pm or forget it.

Campania

17-15 Broadway, Fair Lawn, NJ  is a bring your own Italian Cuisine. Although a little bit more pricy then the others listed the food is outstanding and the service superb. Get there early or your find yourself waiting.
